Jake and Todds annual Westcoast fishing trip booked for the first week of August. Since we started our trip on the final day of a 3 day fishing derby (http://www.quatsino.org/derby/) we didn’t think we needed derby tickets.

Jake almost getting spooled with the first fish of the trip. Catching him at 140 feet and ripping line like we snagged a seal.

A 39 to start the trip (would have won the derby).

Todd holds up a spring we dragged out of some kelp beds.

Double header’s are fun.

Hooking up on the fly. Chrome ocean coho’s are fun on the fly rods. Hitting the bucktails and on the strip.
