It is always a pleasure to fish with someone you will learn tricks from. I had the opportunity to spend a day fly-fishing with Gerd. Watching cutthroat trout swim from the other side of the pool to attack his secret fly was a sight to see.
Aggressive good sized cuddy’s were no stranger to the “Gerd special” fly.
Finding this nice sized steelhead in the first pool we fished. I knew it was going to be a good day.
