While Steve was visiting Port Mcneill he was referred to my business card and was into doing some fishing while he was here. Ready to fish the following morning, Steve was ready to hear a reel zing.
Fishing kings for the morning flood to the high slack tide, then moving to jig some halibut was the agenda for the day.

Ending up the day with one halibut and two snappers. No kings hit the anchovies today. We pulled the crab pot and ended up with 6 nice sized dungeness crabs.

In search of a Vancouver Island steelhead we decide to go for a walk down a river, which happens to be one of his favorite things to do (inside joke). Fighting through the mosquitos we did find some action.

Steve’s first B.C wild steelhead.
